Due to the Ultra High tensile steel no bracing is needed at the tine ends leaving them open to lose unwanted debris while raking. 1" Thick Super High Strength steel tines are both extra strong and extra wear resistant. Tines are cut from high tensile steel plate (180,000 p.s.i) boasting a yield strength of 140,000 p.s.i. as compared to mild steel with a yield strength of 36,000 p.s.i.
